On August 18, the 1st Congress of the Viet Hung Ward Party Committee, term 2025-2030, held an official session, with the participation of 248 delegates, representing 6,094 party members in the entire Party Committee.
With the theme "Building a strong, comprehensive, close-to-the-people Party and political system, serving the people; solidarity, democracy, aspiration, creativity, breakthrough; developing Viet Hung ward sustainably, civilly, modernly" and the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Creativity - Efficiency", the 1st Congress of the Viet Hung Ward Party Committee discussed and approved 3 breakthroughs, 16 targets, 5 tasks and 6 specific groups of solutions.

Two breakthroughs were implemented in parallel: "Promoting the completion of urban infrastructure in a smart and modern direction associated with the application of science and technology and digital transformation" and "Developing the economy in a green - smart direction; focusing on effective exploitation of land resources".
Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Doan Toan - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the City Party Committee - suggested that Viet Hung ward should continue to attach importance to and promote the building and rectifying of a clean, strong and comprehensive Party; building a streamlined political system that operates effectively and efficiently.
Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front (FFC) and socio-political organizations from wards to residential groups must innovate their methods of operation in the direction of being close to the people, for the people, closely following the grassroots, listening to people's opinions and promptly resolving urgent issues right from the grassroots.
The ward needs to focus on leading and directing innovation in thinking about economic development, maximizing the advantages of the location of the Northeast gateway of the capital, effectively exploiting inter-regional traffic axes to expand modern trade - services, logistics, high-quality medical services, education, meeting the needs of residents inside and outside the area.
Encourage strong development of cultural - ecological tourism - craft villages, associated with preserving and effectively exploiting the values of Le Mat craft village, Duong riverside landscape; initiate experiential tourism products, night-time economy, build community creative spaces, performances, cuisine, village festivals, riverside festivals... create the unique identity of Viet Hung.
Urgently review and adjust zoning plans and detailed plans in the area in accordance with the General Planning of the Capital, creating a solid legal basis to attract investment and sustainable development...
The Congress announced the decisions of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee on appointing ward personnel. Accordingly, the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of Viet Hung Ward, term I, 2025 - 2030, consists of 25 comrades.
Comrade Duong Hoai Nam - Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of the old Long Bien District - was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Viet Hung Ward, term 2025-2030. The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee is comrade Le Duc Toan. The Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee is comrade Vu Xuan Truong.
