Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front (MTTQ), central mass organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front attended and directed the conference.
At the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Thanh Binh, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee, announced Decision No. 41-QDNS/TW dated February 27, 2026 of the Politburo. According to the Politburo's Decision, Comrade Le Thi Thuy, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee, will no longer participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and will no longer hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee for the term 2020 - 2025; transfer, assign, and appoint to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, and central mass organizations for the term 2020 - 2025.
Also at the conference, Deputy Head of the Organization Committee of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central Agencies Vu Gia Dan announced Decision No. 199-QD/DUMTTQ, CĐTTW dated February 27, 2026 of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central Agencies, appointing Comrade Le Thi Thuy, Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central Agencies for the term 2020 - 2025, former Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee for the term 2020 - 2025 to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union Central Committee for the term 2025 - 2030.
On behalf of the Politburo, Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central mass organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, warmly congratulated Comrade Le Thi Thuy on receiving her new work assignment, meeting the requirements of arranging and consolidating the contingent of cadres after the 14th Party Congress.
Chairwoman Bui Thi Minh Hoai affirmed that comrade Le Thi Thuy is a well-trained cadre with firm political bravery, high sense of responsibility, and a rich working process in many positions, fields, and localities, from the Central to local levels. In which, she has held important leadership positions, being the head of provincial-level Party committees, leading Party committees directly under the Central Government and having a lot of experience in Party building and building the political system.
Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Bui Thi Minh Hoai requested comrade Le Thi Thuy in her new position to quickly grasp the work situation, promote practical experience, capacity to inherit and promote the achievements and valuable experiences of generations of leaders of the Central Vietnam Women's Union, continue to work with the leadership of the Party Committee and leaders of the Central Vietnam Women's Union to unite and unify to lead the Central Vietnam Women's Union to achieve many new achievements and excellently complete tasks; together with the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, build a high level of solidarity and unity throughout the Party Committee and the Union system. In the immediate future, focus on directing propaganda, mobilization, and encouragement of members and women to actively participate in the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term; well lead the organization of the 14th National Women's Congress in the coming time.
Chairwoman Bui Thi Minh Hoai also emphasized that Comrade Le Thi Thuy and the leadership of the Central Party Committee of the Association continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress and Resolutions of the Central Government to continue to promote tradition, spirit of solidarity, creativity, proactive integration, and the sense of mastery of all classes of women; build a strong Association organization.
Promoting the application of science, technology and digital transformation in the Association's activities was emphasized by Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, along with continuing to innovate the content and methods of operation, further promoting the role of the Association in supervision, social criticism and participation in building the Party and political system; effectively implementing patriotic emulation movements, arousing the aspiration of women to contribute and be creative; supporting women's comprehensive development, building a warm, happy, civilized, and progressive Vietnamese family.
Speaking to receive the assignment, the new Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union Central Committee Le Thi Thuy sent sincere and deep thanks to the Politburo, the Secretariat, the General Secretary, and the Prime Minister for trusting and entrusting important responsibilities, and the leaders of the Party Committee of the Government, ministries, departments, and branches at the central and local levels for always caring, coordinating, helping, and creating conditions for her to successfully complete her tasks in the past time.
Comrade Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union Central Committee also expressed gratitude for the companionship of relevant agencies and especially respectfully thanked Comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyen for her many important contributions to the development of the women's movement and the Union's activities in the past time.
In her new position, Comrade Le Thi Thuy pledged to try her best, constantly study, train, and improve her political bravery, moral qualities, and working capacity; together with the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, promote the tradition of solidarity, dynamism, creativity, overcoming difficulties and challenges, leading and directing the successful implementation of the goals and tasks set out by the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of Women and the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress.
The new Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union affirmed that she will always focus on grassroots levels, care for and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of all classes of women, promote the role of women in the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland, and continue to build the Vietnam Women's Union as a solid bridge between the Party and all classes of women, making important contributions to the cause of industrialization, modernization of the country and international integration.
Comrade Le Thi Thuy was born in 1964; native of Nghe An province; professional qualifications: Master of Law, Bachelor of Law; Member of the Party Central Committee of the XII, XIII, XIV terms.
Comrade has held many working positions: Deputy Chief Inspector of Nghe An province; Standing Deputy Secretary of Hung Nguyen District Party Committee; Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee; Chief Inspector of Nghe An province; Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee.
From November 2010 to August 2016, he held the position of Deputy Inspector General of the Government. From August 2016 to July 2019, he was Deputy Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee. From July 2019 to January 2025, he held the position of Secretary of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee.
In February 2025, he was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee. In March 2026, he was transferred and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee, and central mass organizations; and was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union.
