On July 11, the Hai Phong City Veterans Association held a conference to announce the decisions of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association on the establishment of the Hai Phong City Veterans Association after implementing the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units.
At the conference, the representative of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association of War Invalids announced the decision to establish the Hai Phong City Association of War Invalids (new) on the basis of merging the Hai Phong City Association of War Invalids (old) and the Hai Duong Provincial Association of War Invalids (old).
According to the decision, from July 1, 2025, the legal status of the Hai Duong Provincial Association of Police and the Hai Phong City Association of Police (old) will be terminated; at the same time, the Hai Duong Provincial Association of Police will be responsible for handing over all organizations, personnel, members and related contents to the Hai Phong City Association of Police (new) in accordance with regulations.
The Central Committee of the Association also announced the list of Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman, Vice Chairmen and Inspection Committee of the Hai Phong City Association of Police for the 2022 - 2027 term. Mr. Dinh Van Truy - Member of the Association's Standing Committee, holds the position of Chairman of the City Association of Police; Mr. Vu Huu Keo, Pham Cong Luc and Nguyen Van Hung hold the position of Vice Chairmen; The Association's Executive Committee consists of 34 comrades, appointed according to the regulations of the Central Association.
Also within the framework of the conference, the City Association of War Veterans announced the completion of the organization of Association of War Veterans in 114 communes, wards and specific administrative units in the whole city after completing the merger process.
