From October 2026, "Women's Voices Month" will be held annually throughout the Vietnam Women's Union system.

Implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of Women and Plan No. 17/KH-MTTW-BTT dated June 17, 2026 of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on organizing activities "Month of Listening to the People's Voices", the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union Central Committee has issued a plan to organize "Month of Listening to Women's Voices" throughout the Union system.

According to the plan, the "Women's Voices Month" activities are organized periodically every year in appropriate form associated with the Vietnam Women's Union Anniversary Month (October every year).

100% of Association levels deploy

One of the requirements of the plan is that 100% of Provincial and Commune-level Women's Unions implement the "Month of Listening to Women's Voices", ensuring substance, effectiveness and coordination with the Fatherland Front system to avoid overlap.

Union officials are required to directly go to the area to meet and exchange with members and women, paying attention to vulnerable women and women who are not yet members.

The results of handling recommendations and the level of satisfaction of members and women are identified as one of the evaluation criteria. Association levels strive for 100% of opinions, recommendations, and reflections to be transferred to individuals and competent agencies for consideration, resolution and monitoring of results.

Focus on issues close to women

The content of "Women's Voices Month" focuses on issues directly related to women's lives and rights.

Including opinions on the organization and operation of local governments at 2 levels; preserving traditional culture; promoting female human resources; developing the private economy, innovation, and application of science and technology.

Issues of ethnicity, religion, land, planning, environment, apartment buildings, construction investment, labor, employment, health, education, food safety and social security also belong to the group of contents being listened to.

Every year, localities choose topics suitable to the actual situation, prioritizing issues related to the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of members and women or prolonged recommendations that have not been satisfactorily resolved.

The plan especially pays attention to poor and near-poor women who are household heads, single women, women with disabilities, pregnant women, those raising young children under 36 months old and vulnerable groups.
