On July 18, the Women's Union of Nhi Chieu Ward (Hai Phong City) held a conference to deploy tasks according to the new organizational model after the merger of administrative units.
At the conference, the leaders of the City Women's Union announced the decision to establish the Nhi Chieu Ward Women's Union on the basis of merging the Women's Union of Tan Dan, Minh Tan, Phu Thu and Duy Tan wards. According to the new organizational model, the Association has 27 affiliated branches, gathering 8,174 members.
The Executive Committee of the Women's Union of the ward for the 2021-2026 term was appointed, consisting of 46 comrades; the Standing Committee has 10 comrades. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh was appointed to hold the position of President of the Women's Union of Nhi Chieu Ward.
The conference discussed and agreed to approve the Association's Working Regulations, assigned specific tasks to members of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee; and at the same time, developed a work program for the last 6 months of 2025 with many key contents.

In the new period, the Women's Union of Nhi Chieu Ward determined to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation in a practical and effective manner; take the legitimate needs and aspirations of members as the center; promote the application of information technology to improve the quality of the Union's activities.
In addition, the Association focuses on launching extensive emulation movements, especially activities to support women in economic development, women in starting a business, building happy families and participating in building civilized urban areas.
The Association also emphasized the need to strengthen coordination with socio-political organizations and local authorities, and take advantage of socialized resources to implement hands-on activities, aiming at building a sustainable society.
One of the contents that the Association is interested in is proactively advising the Ward Fatherland Front Committee on women, children, and families - key issues in building a safe and developed community.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Women's Union of the ward directly disseminated to cadres and members about the policy of arranging administrative units and building local governments at two levels. At the same time, it guides members and people to carry out public administrative procedures online, contributing to improving the effectiveness of administrative reform in the area.
