On November 25, responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Central Inspection Commission held a launching ceremony to support people in provinces and cities in the Central Highlands region affected by storms and floods.

Attending the launching ceremony were Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Tran Sy Thanh, leaders of departments, units and all cadres, civil servants, and employees of the Central Inspection Committee at four locations: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Can Tho.

At the ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Ron - Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Committee - said that in recent days, people in provinces and cities in the Central - Central Highlands region have suffered many heavy losses due to floods.

In that situation, the Politburo, the Secretariat, and General Secretary To Lam promptly led and directed the response work; The Government and the Prime Minister issued many urgent telegrams, requesting localities, military and police forces to urgently rescue people, overcome the consequences with the spirit of "protecting people's lives is paramount, first of all", ensuring that people do not lack hunger, clean water and medicine.

Mr. Tran Van Ron emphasized that supporting people affected by floods is not only a noble gesture but also a vivid manifestation of the nation's "mutual love" and "sharing food and clothes", and at the same time, it is a tradition and also the sentiment and responsibility of the staff of the inspectorate in the face of the people's difficulties. Every heart shared, no matter how small, contributed to adding confidence and motivation for people to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Right at the ceremony, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Tran Sy Thanh and all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the Central Inspection Committee participated in the voluntary donation, in order to share with people affected by natural disasters and floods.
