Dak Lak - Krong Nang commune presents Tet gifts to more than 1,000 poor households in the area, contributing to helping people enjoy spring and celebrate Tet warmer and more prosperously.

On February 5th, the Economic Department of Krong Nang commune implemented a program to give Tet Nguyen Dan Binh Ngo 2026 gifts to households in difficult circumstances in the commune.

In the chilly atmosphere of the last days of the year, joy and warmth are evident on the faces of poor and near-poor households when they are cared for and supported with Tet gifts by local authorities. Thereby, contributing to helping people have more conditions to welcome a more fulfilling and warmer spring.

Accordingly, on February 5 and 6, the Krong Nang Commune Economic Department will present a total of 1,048 gifts to poor and near-poor households in the area. Among them, there are 961 poor households and 447 near-poor households living in 40 villages and hamlets of the commune; each gift is worth 400,000 VND, with a total budget of more than 560 million VND.

In addition, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Krong Nang commune mobilized many socialized resources, giving an additional 900 gifts to people in difficult circumstances, with a total budget of about 400 million VND.

For many households, Tet gifts are not only of material significance but also a great source of spiritual encouragement.

Ms. H'Len Mlô, a resident of a poor household, emotionally shared: "When we heard the news of receiving Tet gifts, people in the village were very happy because they were cared for and supported by the Party and State. The family is large, the income mainly comes from hired labor, so Tet always has many worries. Receiving gifts, the family has more conditions to buy rice and cakes for their children to celebrate Tet.

Sharing the joy, Ms. H'Dun Mlo said that after receiving the gift, the family will buy more rice, fish sauce, and salt to use and set aside a small portion to take care of a more decent Tet.

Mr. Le Hong Van, Chairman of Krong Nang Commune People's Committee, said that immediately after implementing the two-level local government model, the commune determined that the effective use of policy capital sources and support for ethnic minorities is a priority task.

The work of caring for Tet for disadvantaged people is always focused on by the locality every Tet holiday and spring. The review of the list of poor and near-poor households is carried out publicly and transparently, ensuring the right subjects, without leaving anyone behind.

In addition to the local budget, Krong Nang commune also actively mobilizes organizations, businesses, and philanthropists to join hands to support people.

According to Mr. Van, Tet gifts given at the right time contribute to helping people alleviate difficulties and have more motivation to rise up in life. This is also one of the important solutions for the locality to effectively implement poverty reduction and promote socio-economic development in the 2026-2030 period.

According to research, from mid-January 2026, Krong Nang Commune People's Committee has issued a plan to organize cultural, artistic, and sports activities before and after the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year.

Accordingly, Krong Nang commune will organize activities to preserve and maintain traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities in the area in a methodical way.
