According to the report, in the first 6 months of 2025, patriotic emulation movements launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Soc Trang province were implemented synchronously, in line with the reality and aspirations of the people.
Many typical movements continue to promote their effectiveness such as: "Cadres, civil servants, and public employees compete to practice office culture", "Soc Trang joins hands to build new rural areas", "Practice thrift, fight waste" and "Promoting lifelong learning", the emulation movement "Soc Trang joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind" for the period 2021-2025.
The highlight is the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025" which is widely deployed from the province to the grassroots. To date, more than VND 417.7 billion has been received from organizations, individuals, and businesses to support the "For the Poor" Fund to implement the program. Through the review, the whole province needs to eliminate 8,917 temporary and dilapidated houses and has completed 7,872 houses, of which 5,930 were newly built and 1,942 were repaired. The province strives to complete 100% of the plan before June 30, 2025.
On this occasion, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee commended and rewarded 11 collectives and 19 individuals with many achievements in frontline work, the emulation movement to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Soc Trang province in 2025.
