Ca Mau - 43 poor and near-poor households in Khanh Lam commune affected by heavy rain and high tides were supported with 1 million VND per household.

On December 10, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Ca Mau province organized a support program for poor and near-poor households affected by prolonged heavy rain, combined with high tides that damaged production, affected travel and lost income.

Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province Nguyen Van Khoi said that the funding source was taken from the Provincial Relief Fund, formed from contributions from organizations, businesses, and philanthropists inside and outside the province.

According to Mr. Khoi, the community's cooperation not only shows the spirit of mutual love, but also adds motivation for people to rise up and stabilize their lives after natural disasters.
