On July 22, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Lai province, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Lai province - sent letters of concern to the Party Committee, government and people of Lai Chau province.
At the same time, the province decided to support 2 billion VND from the Gia Lai Provincial Relief Fund to join hands in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and sharing difficulties with localities heavily affected by floods.
In recent days, flash floods, landslides and landslides have occurred in Muong Than commune and many areas in Lai Chau province, causing serious damage to people, property and infrastructure, greatly affecting production activities and people's lives.
On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Lai province, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luong sent his sincere regards and deep sharing to all officials, soldiers and people of Lai Chau province, especially families with deceased and injured relatives and households directly affected by natural disasters.
Promoting the tradition of national solidarity and mutual affection, officers, soldiers and people of Gia Lai province decided to support 2 billion VND from the Gia Lai Provincial Relief Fund, transferred to Lai Chau province through the account of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lai Chau province.
This funding source contributes to supporting localities to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, helping people soon stabilize their lives and gradually restore production.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luong expressed his belief that with the attention of the Party and State; the joint efforts of localities across the country and the spirit of solidarity and will to overcome difficulties of the Party Committee, government and people of Lai Chau province, the locality will soon overcome difficulties, overcome the consequences of natural disasters, stabilize life and continue to develop.
