On July 22, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich - Vice Chairwoman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee - signed an official dispatch to the Department of Health, agreeing on the policy of supporting Lai Chau province with medicines and medical chemicals to serve the work of ensuring environmental sanitation, clean water, disease prevention and control, and health care for people in areas affected by floods.
Accordingly, the support list includes: Cloramin B powder form (350kg); Aquatab 67mg liquid disinfectant tablets (20,000 tablets); 300 medical medicine bags.
The support source is deducted from the source of medicine and medical chemicals provided by organizations and units supporting Gia Lai Provincial Department of Health according to the proposal of the Department of Health.
Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Health to preside over and coordinate with the Lai Chau Provincial Department of Health and relevant agencies and units to organize the export, transportation, and handover of the above-mentioned medicines and medical chemicals, ensuring timeliness, correct purpose, correct subjects, safety, and efficiency.
Gia Lai Department of Health is also responsible for reviewing the origin, quality, expiration date and storage conditions of all medicines and medical chemicals; only providing support for types of medicines and chemicals that meet quality standards and meet the conditions for use as prescribed.
