HCMC - Voluntary blood donation is not only a profound act of humanity but also demonstrates the spirit of mutual love and responsibility to the community.

On July 26, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Binh Thanh Ward coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Society, the City Humanitarian Blood Donation Center, mass organizations and related units to organize a voluntary blood donation program in 2025 with the theme of Blood Drops - Friendship for the ages.

In particular, the program also has the active participation of more than 30 Lao and Cambodian students studying in Ho Chi Minh City.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Hoang Mai Quynh Hoa - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Thanh Ward emphasized that voluntary blood donation is not only a profound act of humanity but also a specific act expressing the spirit of mutual love and responsibility to the community. In particular, with the participation of international friends, the program becomes even more meaningful, contributing to the friendship between ethnic groups on the Indochina peninsula.

At the end of the blood donation ceremony, the organizing committee received a total of more than 250 participants. The amount of blood received will contribute significantly to the emergency and treatment of patients at medical facilities.

This blood donation program is also one of the activities to celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1945 - July 27, 2025), at the same time, strongly spreading the spirit of love, sharing and international solidarity in the community.
