Ms. Nguyen Thi Thi (born in 1953, residing in Ha Tu 2 neighborhood, Ha Tu ward, Quang Ninh province) voluntarily donated land to serve the construction of traffic projects for the benefit of the community.
Ms. Thi voluntarily donated more than 20m2 of land, on which there is a two-story house to implement the project "Renovation and upgrading of Minh Ha road and the road connecting to the new construction area of Vu Van Hieu High School in Ha Tu ward, Quang Ninh province".
Although the donated area is outside the site clearance boundary of the project, her family still agreed and voluntarily handed it over to expand the sidewalk space, contribute to urban embellishment, improve the quality of traffic infrastructure and better serve the travel needs of people in the area.

Sharing about voluntarily donating land outside the road surface clearance boundary, Ms. Thi said that there are 3 schools on Minh Ha street. During peak hours, children returning from school often experience traffic jams, so her family wants to donate land to expand sidewalks, helping to "clear roads and sidewalks".
The two-story house was built by the old owner close to the road, Ms. Thi has applied to the Ha Tu Ward People's Committee to donate land.
After her petition was approved, the ward leaders directed relevant units to bring machinery to dismantle the two-story house.
My family donated a part of the land adjacent to the road to make a spacious corridor for people to walk smoothly. In the immediate future, it will be beautiful for our house, beautiful for the street, beautiful for the ward, and convenient for students to walk," Ms. Thi said.
Ms. Thi will move in to live in the adjacent house behind the two-story house that her family had repaired before.
According to the leader of Ha Tu ward, the voluntary donation of land by Ms. Nguyen Thi Thi's family is a beautiful action. That action shows the spirit of responsibility, community awareness and the companionship of people and local Party committees and authorities in implementing socio-economic development tasks and building a civilized city.
Ha Tu Ward People's Committee organized a commendation for Ms. Nguyen Thi Thi.
Through commendation activities, Ha Tu ward continues to spread typical examples, creating consensus among the people, contributing to improving the efficiency of site clearance work, and accelerating the progress of key projects and works in the area.
Since the start of implementing the 2-level government model, Ha Tu ward has implemented 18 projects, including 2 projects received from the Area I Investment Project Management Board.
