HCMC - On September 27, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong ward implemented the second phase of the program series "river Youth Festival - Ethnic Reunited".

Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Van Sum - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee, Mr. Vo Chi Thanh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tam - Chairman of the Ward Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

Through the festival, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong ward and the ward's organizations registered to implement 7 "Binh Duong Muon Hoa" projects worth more than 50 million VND; disbursed the "love capital circulation" support fund for women with the amount of 100 million VND.

The Ward Veterans Association awarded 13 scholarships worth 6.5 million VND; the Ward Union organized a "Grand Unity Meal" at 4 boarding houses with 15 banquets, with a total amount of more than 30 million VND.

In addition, the Red Cross Society of the ward organized a charity booth for the second time to give away 100 gifts including rice, necessities, clean vegetables... worth more than 50 million VND.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Tam - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward - said that the above activities aim to continue to affirm the central role of the great national unity bloc, closely attached to the people, showing care for material and spiritual life and creating social consensus.
