Speaking on the topic "Implementing the goal of double-digit growth, improving national competitiveness and fulfilling social responsibility: The role of female entrepreneurs", Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga - Chairwoman of BRG Group, Standing Vice President of Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Acting Chairwoman of the Vietnam Private Enterprise Association said that in order to realize the aspiration to develop the country in the new era in the spirit of the direction of General Secretary and President To Lam, Vietnam needs to effectively exploit all development resources.
In which, women are not only an important labor force but also a leadership, innovation and value creation resource that plays an increasingly large role in the sustainable development of the nation.
According to Ms. Nga, promoting women's resources is not simply a story of gender equality but also a development requirement of the country in the new period.
Currently, women account for about 47% of the social labor force and women-owned businesses account for nearly 24% of the total number of businesses nationwide. Thousands of female entrepreneurs are running large corporations and businesses, while millions of women participate in new economic fields and professions with increasingly high intellectual content.
What is proud of is that Vietnamese women today not only create economic value but also create humane and sustainable values for society," Ms. Nga emphasized.

From practical production and business activities, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga believes that Vietnamese women and female entrepreneurs can make important contributions to the country's high growth goals in three aspects.
First, to become the nucleus of a green economy and sustainable development. According to Ms. Nga, the orientation of building a model of Vietnamese women in the new era with the qualities "Intelligence - Ethics - Creativity - Aspiration - Green Development and digital transformation" is an important guiding principle for the female entrepreneur community.
Many international studies show that businesses with women participating in leadership often pay more attention to sustainable governance, social responsibility and long-term risk management. This is the foundation for women to become the driving force in green transformation, green consumption and green production.
Second, women are the creators of future human resources. According to Ms. Nga, if double-digit growth is the goal of the next decade, then the quality of Vietnamese people will be the foundation for many decades to come. Therefore, investing in women is also investing in national human resources.
Third, women are a bridge between economic development and social development. Ms. Nga believes that many female entrepreneurs have the ability to harmoniously combine business goals and community responsibility, contributing to creating jobs, learning opportunities, a better living environment and promoting balanced development between economy and society.
With nearly 40 years of business operations, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga affirmed that sustainable business development must be linked to human development. Giving more opportunities to women not only expands the space for economic development but also creates social, human and value values for future generations.
Citing the imprints of women throughout the nation's history, from Hai Ba Trung, Ba Trieu to female heroes in the resistance war, hardworking mothers and female entrepreneurs, scientists, and managers today, Ms. Nga affirmed that women are always a part of national strength.
In particular, she mentioned Ms. Bui Thi Hy - who is considered the first female entrepreneur of Vietnam. Nearly 600 years ago, she brought Chu Dau pottery to the region and the world, contributing to affirming the position of Vietnamese goods and culture on international trade routes. Currently, Chu Dau pottery artifacts are kept at 46 museums in 32 countries.
With the attention of the Party, the State and the companionship of the Vietnam Women's Union, I believe that millions of Vietnamese women and businesswomen will continue to ignite the flame of aspiration, confidence, self-reliance, and self-strengthening, making even stronger contributions to the development of the country," Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga emphasized.
