On October 19, the 2nd session of the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Binh Duong Ward, term 2025 - 2030, took place.
Attending were Mr. Nguyen Hai Nam - Deputy Chief of Office of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Mr. Bui Thanh Nhan - Standing Member of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation. On the local leaders' side, there were Mr. Nguyen Van Dong - Member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Binh Duong Ward, along with leaders of Binh Duong Ward and delegates attending the congress.
At the congress, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong ward organized the announcement and introduction of personnel. Accordingly, the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Binh Duong Ward, term 2025 - 2030, unanimously elected 57 members of the committee, appointed 5 comrades to the Standing Committee, of which Mr. Nguyen Minh Tam was re-elected Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong Ward.
At the congress, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong ward and organizations of Binh Duong ward organized a fundraising event to support people affected by storms and floods. As a result, more than 160 million VND was raised. The total amount mobilized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward was 520 million VND to support people affected by floods.
Previously, on October 18, the socio-political organizations of Binh Duong ward held the first congress of delegates for the 2025-2030 term and announced decisions on personnel work including: Mr. Nguyen Huu Phuoc - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward continues to hold the position of Chairman of the Ward Veterans Association; Mr. Bui Nguyen Phi Hung - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong ward continues to hold the position of Secretary of the Ward Youth Union; Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Anh Thy - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong ward continues to hold the position of Chairman of the Ward Women's Union; Mr. Pham Tuan Tu - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong ward continues to hold the position of Chairman of the Ward Trade Union.
