An Giang - A clip about 30 seconds long posted on social media recorded a scene of an 8th grade female student being beaten by 2 male students in class.

The clip of about 30 seconds recorded a male student wearing a gymnasium holding his hair, objects a female student wearing a gymnasium to the ground and then repeatedly uses her hands to hit her head and face. Another male student wearing a white shirt in trousers continued to attack the female student without any signs of resistance with punches and kicks straight into the face, causing her to fall back to the brick floor.

Many students stood around to watch but could not stop him. The clip attracted many comments and shares expressing frustration about the problem of school violence.

On the afternoon of October 8, Mr. Tran Tan Loi - Chairman of the People's Committee of Cho Vam commune, An Giang province said that the video clip of an 8th grade female student being beaten by 2 male students was real. The incident occurred in September 2025 at Cho Vam Secondary School.

The local authorities have grasped the incident and are directing the school to coordinate with the commune police to clarify. Initially, the authorities worked with the students' families. The family of the female student who was beaten asked the police to clarify the handling. Currently, the police have received the information and are handling it according to regulations, Mr. Loi informed.
