On the afternoon of September 5, the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front (FFF) and Central organizations held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.
Mr. Do Van Chien - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front chaired.
Attending the conference were Mr. Do Trong Hung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee; Mr. Dang Xuan Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Bui Minh Chau - Member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Phu Tho Provincial Delegation; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
At the conference, Mr. Do Trong Hung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee announced the decision of the Politburo. Accordingly, the Politburo decided that Mr. Nguyen Phi Long - Alternate Member of the 13th Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee, would cease to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and cease to hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; at the same time, assign and appoint him to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Trade Unions for the 2020-2025 term.
Speaking at the assignment, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and Central organizations, Mr. Do Van Chien thanked the Politburo for its attention, mobilization, assignment and appointment of Mr. Nguyen Phi Long to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Organizations for the 2020-2025 term. Mr. Do Van Chien wished Mr. Nguyen Phi Long, in his new position, to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
Mr. Do Van Chien assessed that Mr. Nguyen Phi Long is a cadre who has received basic training, matured from the Youth Union, trained, fostered by superiors, and assigned many very important tasks. Due to the working requirements, to enhance the comprehensive leadership of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and central organizations over the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State, the Politburo decided to transfer, assign and appoint Mr. Nguyen Phi Long to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Organizations for the 2020-2025 term.
Mr. Do Van Chien said that the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and he personally are very confident that Mr. Nguyen Phi Long will promote his capacity and strengths, together with the Standing Committee, the Party Executive Committee, and the Party Committee's advisory agency to help him excellently complete the assigned tasks.
Mr. Do Van Chien said that currently, the Party Committee of the Central Trade Union of Trade Unions has 25 affiliated Party organizations, including 5 grassroots Party organizations and 4 grassroots Party organizations assigned tasks at the grassroots level; there are over 5,000 Party members and comprehensive leaders of the Fatherland Front and 3 socio-political organizations and 30 mass organizations assigned tasks by the Party and the State.
Mr. Do Van Chien hopes that Mr. Nguyen Phi Long will immediately start working after receiving the decision. The Standing Committee will urgently meet to agree on assigning specific tasks, first of all focusing on the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Congress, successful Central organizations and continuing to advise on the arrangement of the Vietnam Fatherland Front system, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations that have been assigned tasks by the Party and State from the Central to the commune level to operate smoothly...
Speaking at the ceremony to accept the assignment, the new Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Trade Unions Nguyen Phi Long expressed his joy and emotion when the Politburo transferred him to work at the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Trade Unions.
"I deeply realize that this is both an honor and a great responsibility in the face of increasingly high requirements in promoting the strength of national solidarity, in the cause of national construction and development," said Mr. Nguyen Phi Long.
Mr. Nguyen Phi Long expressed his hope to receive the profound attention and direction of the Politburo, the Secretariat, the General Secretary, the Central Organizing Committee, the Party Committee Secretary, the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the support of the Standing Committee, the Standing Committee, the Party Committee Executive Committee and all cadres, civil servants and public employees of the Party Committee's agencies so that he can soon grasp the work and successfully complete the assigned tasks.
Mr. Nguyen Phi Long promised to strive to work actively, study, research, constantly cultivate and practice political qualities, ethics, lifestyle, pioneering exemplary and devoted to work, together with the collective leadership, cadres, civil servants and public employees of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and central organizations to promote the tradition of solidarity, strive to successfully complete assigned tasks, first of all, advise on the successful organization of the first Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and central organizations, term 2025-2030.
