On December 5, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Dong Thap province held the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) of Dong Thap province for the 2025-2030 term with 342 official delegates, representing all classes of people, ethnic groups and religions in the province.
Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Nguyen Hai Tram - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee requested that Party committees, Party organizations, and the political system effectively implement Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW of the 8th Conference of the 13th Central Executive Committee on "Continuing to promote the tradition and strength of national solidarity, building our country to be increasingly prosperous and happy".
According to Ms. Nguyen Hai Tram, building and promoting the strength of great national unity must arouse the desire for development; must aim at social consensus and build a strong people's trust in the leadership of the Party, promote the values of patriotism; great national unity; the spirit of mutual love and support; creativity; the spirit of self-reliance and self-reliance of each citizen has become the core value of the Vietnamese people.
In addition, Ms. Nguyen Hai Tram requested to focus on effectively implementing the general tasks of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and closely following the political tasks of the Provincial Party Committee to unify coordination and mobilize all classes of people to compete in studying, working, and laboring in production, striving to complete and exceed the targets and goals set by the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
Continue to strongly innovate the content and methods of operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations towards being closer to the people, closer to the people, towards the grassroots, practical and effective. Pay attention to building a team of cadres of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels in the province to become the core core, closely following the motto "3 near": Near the people - near the grassroots - near the digital space; "5 must": Must listen - must dialogue - must be an example - must take responsibility - must report the results and "4 no": No form - no avoidance - no push - no wrong function.
Ms. Nguyen Hai Tram requested the Fatherland Front at all levels and member organizations to promote the application of science, technology, information technology, and digital transformation throughout the Front system. Develop models of "digital agencies - digital cadres - digital members", aiming to build a comprehensive digital ecosystem in the Vietnam Fatherland Front system and member organizations.
The Congress also approved the personnel project of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap province for the first time, term 2025 - 2030; consulted to elect 116 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the first time, term 2025 - 2030 (shortage of 4 members).
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, term I, 2025 - 2030, held the first meeting of the first half of the negotiation period to elect positions in the Standing Committee.
