On July 9, Politburo Member, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hanoi City Tran Duc Thang worked with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City.
Reporting at the working session, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City Tran Thi Phuong Hoa said that after more than a year of implementing the two-level local government model, under the direct leadership of the City Party Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front system and socio-political organizations of the city have gradually adapted to the new organizational model; both completing the consolidation of the organizational structure and continuously maintaining activities, and at the same time, innovating the content and methods of operation according to the requirements of the new development stage.
Emulation movements, campaigns and mobilization of social resources to serve the development of the Capital have been effectively promoted.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the city also actively participated in solving 5 bottlenecks of the city, proactively participating in site clearance to implement key projects; deploying "Support Groups", "Propaganda Groups" models to propagate, mobilize, and explain policies, creating consensus, while protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of the people.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the city promotes its representative role, protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of the people; the quality of supervision, social criticism, and participation in Party building and government building has been improved.
Supervision activities focus on implementing the guidelines and resolutions of the Central Government and the city; administrative reform, digital transformation, land management, construction order, environmental protection, social security and the settlement of voters' petitions. Supervision and criticism methods are innovated in the direction of being substantive, clarifying the content of petitions, clear addresses, clear responsibilities, clear deadlines for settlement...
Digital transformation, innovation in operating methods, and improvement of management capacity of the Fatherland Front system and socio-political organizations are being promoted.
Concluding the working session, Hanoi Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang praised and evaluated the contributions of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City and member organizations in the overall socio-economic development results of the city over the years.
Secretary of the City Party Committee Tran Duc Thang requested the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City to focus on strongly innovating the content and methods of operation of the Fatherland Front to adapt to the requirements of the two-level local government model.
Along with that, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City needs to best implement the synthesis and promotion of the strength of the great national unity, consolidate trust, and arouse the spirit of responsibility and aspiration to contribute of all strata of people to the development of the Capital in the new era.
Effectively perform the role of a reliable bridge between the Party, government and people; continue to propagate and mobilize people to support the city's guidelines and policies in the new development stage of the Capital.
