Referring to the timely support activities of the people across the country for the people in Thai Nguyen province in recent times, Vice Chairwoman Ha Thi Nga stated that these initial supports will be a motivation for the people of Thai Nguyen province to warm up the hearts of the heavy losses that families are suffering when the flood passes.

"The total estimated damage is over VND4,000 billion, the locality currently needs about VND650 billion to urgently overcome the situation, helping people stabilize their lives soon. To date, through the relief receiving account, the province has received over 100 billion VND from organizations and individuals inside and outside the province. In addition to financial support, many volunteer groups have directly gone to affected areas to help people overcome the consequences of storms and floods" - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dinh Quang Tuyen province said.

Thanking the people of the whole country for their support for Thai Nguyen province in recent days; at the most difficult time, that support has helped people promptly overcome the consequences of storms and floods, Mr. Dinh Quang Tuyen expressed his hope that in the coming time, he will continue to receive support from the people of the whole country so that Thai Nguyen province can have the conditions to rebuild the lives of the people after floods.

By 8:00 a.m. on October 11, in the residential groups, all the water had receded, and people were focusing on overcoming the consequences of floods (many water routes had receded but mud and waste caused many difficulties for people and vehicles to travel, and at the same time, caused environmental pollution if not handled promptly).

Currently, agencies, units and residential groups assigned tasks have been proactive in preparing human resources, material resources and means to respond to natural disaster situations.

Immediately after the meeting, Vice President Ha Thi Nga directly visited and presented 15 gifts to households heavily affected by storms and floods; visited schools and presented support to teachers and students.
