On the morning of October 17, the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations disseminated 3 important topics to Party members in the Party Committee.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha - Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front (FFF), Central organizations, Vice President - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front delivered a speech of General Secretary To Lam at the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central Organizations.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha presented the main contents of the speech; draft action program of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and implementation.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha has thoroughly grasped the instructions of General Secretary To Lam: The Front is the People; The Front is the most widely gathered place for the masses, workers, farmers, women, the elderly, youth, teenagers, children, veterans; ethnic minorities, religions; intellectuals, businessmen, artists, and overseas Vietnamese.
General Secretary To Lam affirmed in his speech: The strength of the Front is the strength of the people's heart; the tradition of the Front is solidarity; the Front is the place to weave the connection between the Party, the State and the people; is the place to turn the right policies into the right actions, the right results.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha raised General Secretary To Lam's assessments of the Front's work, in which the General Secretary frankly pointed out the limitations and weaknesses that need to be overcome.
In his speech, General Secretary To Lam proposed 3 consistent guiding viewpoints:
Taking the people as the center, subject, goal and driving force of innovation. Every resolution and action program must answer: What practical benefits for the people, for each vulnerable group, for each specific community.
Combining democracy - discipline - rule of law. Expanding grassroots democracy, promoting social dialogue, along with discipline, enforcement, the rule of law, and respect for differences.
Shift from a formal movement to practical results, based on data and figures; prioritize models that can be replicated quickly, have a reasonable cost, have a great impact on life, and bring practical benefits to people.
General Secretary To Lam proposed to focus on implementing 6 key areas: Completing the organization and coordination mechanism: "One thing, one focal point, one deadline, one result"; consolidating and expanding the great national unity bloc "no one is left behind"; taking care of people's lives with 6 key areas of people's livelihood and assigning the main responsibility to each organization; innovating the method of mass organization - combating "conversion" between the Central and grassroots; institutionalizing it into a mandatory process for the policy: People - People - discuss - People - inspect - People supervise - People benefit, issuing a set of criteria "3 public - 3 supervise"; disciplining, practically competing - inspecting together.
Based on the directives of General Secretary To Lam, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha presented the draft action program of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to implement the instructions of General Secretary To Lam.
In particular, one of the 6 key areas of social security is employment - wages - labor safety, which the Labor Relations Department was assigned to preside over and advise on implementation.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha directed all affiliated Party organizations to supplement regular programs and action plans, specifying the direction of General Secretary To Lam in the upcoming Congress term; at the same time, assigned the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to develop a plan to implement the direction of General Secretary To Lam at the Congress, to be completed before October 30, 2025.
