Putting aside business, choosing a military environment
Tran Van Vu was born in 2000 and grew up in Tien La commune, Hung Yen province. After graduating from college, Vu started a business and worked in Hanoi. The time spent working in urban areas helped Vu have practical experiences in work, business and independent life as a young person.
After a period of working in Hanoi, Vu decided to return to his hometown and continue his small business. Vu's life in his hometown is considered stable, his income compared to the general level in the locality is quite good. For many people, it is a suitable choice for settling down and staying long-term. However, in Vu's thinking, there were always his own concerns.
Vu said that during his stay and meeting with friends who had served in the army and returned to his hometown, he often heard about the military environment. Stories about discipline training, collective spirit, teamwork and maturity after military service have left many deep impressions.
Listening to my friends on duty, I see that they have changed a lot, become more mature and more confident. Those stories made me seriously think about my responsibilities" - Vu shared.
Despite having a business job and a stable income, Tran Van Vu still decided to write an application for military service. For him, it is not an impromptu act, but the result of a process of thinking and considering the personal interests and obligations of a young citizen towards the Fatherland.

From social experience to determination to write a military enlistment application
Tran Van Vu's determination was further strengthened when he followed news and propaganda activities, especially through the A80 event. According to Vu, these contents have more clearly aroused the love of homeland, country and sense of responsibility of young people.
Through the A80 event, I see more clearly the meaning of dedication. I want to experience the military environment to train myself" - Vu expressed.
Sharing about his decision, Vu said that the experiences he had in social life would be an important baggage when entering the military environment. I believe that with what I have experienced in society, combined with the military environment, I will mature, he said.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Tung - Deputy Commander of the Tien La Commune Military Command, Tran Van Vu is one of the young people who actively participate in local activities. In the past, Vu has regularly followed information, participated in movements and demonstrated a sense of responsibility to the community.
Over the past year, Vu has proactively followed information and participated in contributing and dedicating to the locality. Vu wrote a volunteer application to join the army. We have also received applications and through the recruitment rounds, Vu passed all" - Mr. Nguyen Van Tung said.
The Tien La Commune Military Command assessed Tran Van Vu as a typical example of a young man with education, stable jobs and income in the locality but still willing to put his own job aside to join the military service.
At the age of 25, temporarily suspending business, leaving the familiar lifestyle to enter a disciplined military environment is not an easy decision. However, for Tran Van Vu, it was a choice that came from patriotism, from the desire to contribute and train himself.
Tran Van Vu's story is not only the personal story of a young man in Tien La commune, but also reflects the sense of responsibility, will and aspiration to contribute of many Hung Yen young men in this year's military recruitment season.
