- It can be said that in the past time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front has had many positive, effective and responsible activities in performing the tasks of the Vietnam Fatherland Front as stipulated in the Constitution and law.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front has done a good job of gathering and promoting the strength of the great national unity, focusing and gathering the consensus of all classes of people to mobilize resources to contribute to building a rich, prosperous, civilized and happy country.
What is your assessment of the activities of the Vietnam Trade Union organization in contributing to building the great national unity bloc?
- In the past time, member organizations of the Vietnam Fatherland Front have actively and effectively implemented campaigns and emulation movements with good models and creative ways of doing things, receiving the attention and high appreciation of the community.
It is noteworthy that the VGCL has promoted the movement "Good Labor - Creative Labor", "Good Consulting, Good Service", responding to movements launched by the Prime Minister such as the 500KV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen power line project... making an important contribution to promoting socio-economic development. Programs such as "Workers' Month", "Trade Union Shelter", "Reunion Tet", social charity programs to support people affected by natural disasters and floods, and supporting sea and island programs... have practically and effectively cared for millions of workers and people from all walks of life.
Thereby actively contributing to building harmonious, stable, progressive labor relations, and helping no one be left behind, effectively performing the function of building the great national unity bloc of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
What recommendations and proposals do you have to strongly innovate the content and methods of operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the next term?
- In my opinion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front needs to strengthen its core political role in building the great national unity bloc; taking the People as the center, subject, goal and driving force for innovation activities.
At the same time, the Front needs to promote emulation in learning, creative labor, and promote resources among the people...
The Vietnam Fatherland Front also needs to continue to comprehensively innovate the content and methods of operation in a practical and effective direction, strongly towards grassroots levels, close to the people, close to the people, accompanying the People...
