On March 22, the Logistics Department of the Provincial Police coordinated with the Trade Union of Division 7 - An Giang University and philanthropists to visit and give gifts to 200 households in difficult circumstances in Vinh Nghia hamlet (Vinh Hau commune) and Tay Khanh 2 hamlet (Long Xuyen ward), An Giang province.

In each locality, the delegation cordially visited and presented 100 gifts to households in difficult circumstances, each gift worth 500,000 VND including: 10kg of rice, 01 box of noodles, cash and necessities for daily life.
The total value of this gift-giving is 100 million VND, contributed by officers and soldiers and mobilized from philanthropists for support. Although each gift is not of great value, it is the concern and sharing of officers and soldiers of the Logistics Department and philanthropists towards people in difficult circumstances.

This is an activity to concretize the Three Firsts emulation movement launched by the Ministry of Public Security and An Giang Provincial Police and celebrate major and important events of the country: Commemorating the 95th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2026); 51st Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026) and 140th Anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2026).
Speaking at the gift-giving program, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Thuong - Deputy Head of the Logistics Department of An Giang Provincial Police - said: In the past time, along with performing the task of ensuring security and order, the Provincial Police force in general, and officers and soldiers of the Logistics Department in particular, have always actively participated in charity activities, gratitude, and donations to support people to overcome the consequences caused by natural disasters and storms.

These activities not only contribute to helping people in difficult circumstances in the area overcome difficulties, but also clearly demonstrate the role and responsibility for the community of officers and soldiers of the Logistics Department.
With the meaningful activities in the visit program, this gift-giving campaign aims to concretize the emulation movement "Three most: Most disciplined - Most loyal - Closest to the people" of the unit. Lieutenant Colonel Thuong also hopes that people will actively participate in the all-people movement to protect national security, continue to coordinate with local authorities, especially grassroots police forces in maintaining security and order, contributing to building an increasingly stable, developed, civilized and prosperous locality.
