Ninh Binh - Provincial leaders visit, share condolences, and encourage relatives of 2 women who died from lightning strikes.

On August 24, a delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province led by Ms. Dinh Thi Lua - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee visited, encouraged, and shared condolences with the families of 2 victims in Hai Hung commune who died from lightning strikes.

At the 2 families, the working delegation lit incense, sent deep condolences to the families; and directly presented each family with 25 million VND from the Ninh Binh Provincial Relief Fund, encouraging the relatives of the victims to overcome their pain and soon stabilize their lives.

Previously, Hai Hung Commune People's Committee organized visits and supported each family with 10 million VND; Ninh Binh Provincial Red Cross Society supported each family with 3 million VND; Hai Hung Commune Fatherland Front Committee supported each family with 2 million VND.

As Lao Dong newspaper reported, at about 6 pm on August 20, Rang Dong Commune Police received a report from people about 2 women being struck unconscious by lightning in the sea dike area in the area.

Upon receiving the news, Rang Dong Commune Police were present at the scene, coordinating to take the two victims to the hospital for emergency treatment.

The two victims were identified as Ms. N (born in 1981) and Ms. T (born in 1987), both residing in Hai Hung commune, Ninh Binh province, who died from lightning strikes while on their way home from work.
