The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Ho Chi Minh City held an online conference with the VFF of 168 wards, communes and special zones on the implementation of the organization of the VFF Congress and socio-political organizations at all levels for the 2025-2030 term on September 16.
Representatives of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the city's socio-political organizations have deployed a number of contents to note in the organization of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress and socio-political organizations of communes, wards and special zones for the first term, 2025 - 2030.
Regarding the method of holding congresses, wards, communes and special zones, based on the local situation, study the organization of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress, then socio-political organizations organize congresses at the same time right after the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress (in case of inactivity, congresses can be held at the same time by 1 to 3 units).
Regarding time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress at the commune level will take place after the Party Congress at the same level, completed before September; the congress of socio-political organizations will take place right after the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress at the same level, completed in October 2025. In case the Congress of socio-political organizations at the commune level is held at the same time right after the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress at the same level, to be completed in October 2025.
Concluding the conference, Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh - Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City acknowledged the opinions expressed by the units. At the same time, it is recommended that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the city's socio-political organizations complete the system of documents: draft documents, political reports, scenarios, and congress programs of each organization; provide guidance on personnel structure... to serve localities organizing congresses in accordance with the Central's instructions; work with the Department of Finance on funding for organizing congresses.
The content, program and documents submitted to the Congress must ensure scientificity, closely following the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws and the practical situation of the locality. Documents submitted to the Congress need to be carefully discussed and widely consulted in the Front system, socio-political organizations, member organizations and all classes of people.
The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City has also established 8 working groups to help localities organize congresses.
Units do not organize art programs to celebrate the congress; do not accept congress congratulatory flowers from collectives and individuals sent as gifts; only arrange flowers to congress congratulations from the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee at the same level (for the Vietnam Fatherland Front congress) and from the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the same level (for congresses of socio-political organizations).
Encourage units and individuals to convert congress congratulations into donations, contributing to the local Fund for the Poor, supporting the Cuban people according to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society.
