Receiving support for flood victims of nearly 4.5 billion VND

HCMC - People and organizations in Vung Tau ward have contributed nearly 4.5 billion VND to support people in the Central region affected and damaged by storms and floods.

On January 10, the Trade Union of Vung Tau ward (Ho Chi Minh City) said that the unit has coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward and mass organizations to actively call on agencies, units, and organizations in the area to support people in the Central region affected by serious floods.

Through this, the unit, together with the Ward Fatherland Front Committee and organizations, has received enthusiastic support in terms of salaries, food, foodstuffs, drinking water, medicines, living utensils... supported by people, workers, and organizations in the area, with the spirit of sharing rice and clothes in difficult times and hardships.

Through this, a total of nearly 4.5 billion VND in cash and about 142 tons of goods were collected to support people affected and damaged by floods. In addition, individuals and organizations also coordinated with the ward Fatherland Front to directly provide support in the central provinces of more than 460 million VND.

Each item and donation amount is a companionship, bringing faith and hope to the people of Central Vietnam who are overcoming difficulties after natural disasters every day.
