On August 13, Tay Nha Trang Ward People's Committee, Ward Fatherland Front Committee and representatives of Tam Huong Co., Ltd. organized the handover of vehicles and equipment to serve flood and storm prevention and control work to people in Vo Cang Residential Group.
At the ceremony, Tam Huong Co., Ltd. presented 8 rescue boats, 40 life jackets and 20 million VND to support Vo Cang residential group to continue purchasing and supplementing necessary items to serve rescue of people when heavy rain and flooding occur.
According to local authorities, after arranging administrative units, Tay Nha Trang ward has a large area, many residential areas are located along the Cai River basin and are frequently affected by flooding during the rainy and storm season.
Vo Cang residential group is one of the heavily affected areas. There are more than 700 households here, mostly living in riverside and low-lying areas. In particular, during the historic flood in November 2025, 649 households in Vo Cang residential group were flooded from 1.8m or more.

The reality at that time showed that large vehicles faced many difficulties in accessing flooded residential areas. Small boats therefore played a practical role in bringing people to safe places, supporting rescue and relief and transporting necessities when traffic was cut off.
With the support of Tam Huong Co., Ltd., 8 composite plastic boats and 40 life jackets have been handed over to 8 household groups in flood-prone areas with a total cost of 50 million VND. The company also decided to support 20 million VND to equip 4 more boats and life jackets for 4 other residential areas in the residential group.
The vehicles are assigned to household groups to directly manage and use to serve evacuation, rescue, and salvage of people and property; transporting drinking water, medicine, and necessities to the cut-off area...
Representatives of Tam Huong Co., Ltd. said that from trips to support essential goods in the flood center area in November 2025, the company has implemented a model of supporting boats for residential areas.
After Vo Cang village, the unit plans to survey and replicate the model in other areas in Tay Nha Trang ward and localities that are frequently affected by floods.
