On February 10, Regiment 726 (Corps 16) coordinated with Quang Truc Commune People's Committee and Tuy Duc Commune People's Committee to organize the program "Tet reunion - Spring filled with military-civilian affection" on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.
In the warm and meaningful atmosphere of the days leading up to Tet, the Organizing Committee cordially visited, encouraged and presented 353 gifts to policy families, poor households, and ethnic minorities in villages and hamlets in Quang Truc and Tuy Duc communes. This activity contributed to helping people celebrate the traditional Tet more warmly and fully.
Speaking at the program, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Do Van Trang, Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of Regiment 726 emphasized that the program "Tet reunion - Spring filled with military-civilian affection" is an activity with profound political, social and humanistic significance; showing the good traditions of "Drinking water, remembering the source", "Healthy leaves protect torn leaves" of the Vietnamese nation.
This is also the responsibility and affection of cadres, employees, and workers of Regiment 726 towards policy families and ethnic minorities who are still facing many difficulties, especially in remote, isolated, and border areas.
Through the program, the solidarity and blood ties between the army and the people continue to be strengthened, contributing to maintaining political stability and social order and safety in border areas; creating a solid foundation for building an all-people national defense posture associated with an increasingly strong people's security posture. The activity also contributes to spreading the image and noble qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the hearts of the people.
Representatives of leaders of Quang Truc and Tuy Duc communes expressed their deep gratitude to the Heads of the 16th Corps Command, the 726th Regiment Command, and all officers, employees, and laborers of the unit for their concern, companionship, and sharing with the local people.
This timely support not only helps people celebrate Tet more joyfully and warmly, but is also a great source of spiritual encouragement, contributing to further tightening the military-civilian solidarity in the area.
On the same day, Lieutenant Colonel Do Van Trang and the working delegation of Regiment 726 visited and presented gifts to policy beneficiaries of the unit.
