On June 3, the Steering Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for science, technology, innovation and digital transformation organized a Conference to evaluate the results of implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo in the first 6 months of the year and key tasks for the last 6 months of 2026.

Reporting on the results of implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo, Mr. Nguyen Binh Minh - Member of the Presidium, Chief of Office of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front said that the work of developing science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and mass associations assigned tasks by the Party and State has had many clear changes. The implementation of the Resolution is placed in the overall implementation of the Project on Digital Transformation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the period 2025-2030, vision to 2035, associated with the requirement to innovate the operating methods of the Front in the context of arranging the organizational structure and operating the local government at two levels.

One of the outstanding results is that the Steering Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for science, technology, innovation and digital transformation has focused on directing and operating synchronously, closely following the Central Government's policy and the functions and tasks of each agency and unit. Leadership and direction work is carried out regularly and continuously; Document issuance is emphasized, creating a legal basis and deployment orientation throughout the system; The role of Party committees and heads is clearly promoted through directly chairing meetings to review progress, issue many directing documents, and consolidate the Steering Committee, Working Group and Network Security Sub-Committee at agencies and organizations.

Regarding digital platforms and applications, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has operated a unified information and operational system of the Fatherland Front from the Central level to the commune level, with 49,913 accounts used throughout the system. The Digital Front platform has been deployed with many important contents. The 24/7 Digital Front Portal has received 1,527 reflections and recommendations from people, including 10 reflections from the Central level, 626 reflections from the provincial level and 801 reflections from the commune level. The online database system has updated periodic report data, personnel work in 34/34 provinces and cities; 3,007/3,321 commune-level units; 83,863/90,508 villages, hamlets, and residential groups; and updated the list of provincial and commune-level Front officials with a total of 6,809 provincial-level officials and 319,052 commune-level officials. In particular, the Information System for managing union members, association members and grassroots organizations has data of 21,666,842 union members belonging to 513,062 organizations, of which 10,671,367 data have been verified with the Ministry of Public Security. Software for managing supervision and social criticism work is also built to receive, summarize, manage, and monitor opinions, recommendations, and reflections of the people; manage supervision and social criticism activities and serve the development of reports and policy recommendations.

Regarding network security, information security, and data safety, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has coordinated with functional agencies to provide nearly 800 specialized public service digital signature certificates; deploy BML transmission channel security encryption equipment; connect, share information, monitor and respond to information security incidents for the Operational Management System of the Fatherland Front. At the same time, the agency is completing level 3 information security dossiers for the Information System for managing union members, association members and grassroots organizations. Some organizations have proactively integrated digital signatures on mobile devices, deployed AI applications in operation, work processing and user support on large-scale digital platforms.

In the last 6 months of 2026, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front will continue to build and deploy the People's Situation Database; Database of movements and campaigns of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; Review and digitize data, digitize core nghiệp vụ at the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; build an integrated platform to share data of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; centralized electronic identification and authentication platform; smart virtual assistant.

Along with that, the "Digital Front Portal" will continue to be deployed to receive 24/7 petitions (opening in 2025): AI application software in summarizing opinions and petitions of voters and people; Building and deploying the Vietnam Fatherland Front Television Conference System and socio-political organizations; Building and deploying the Mobile Application (APP) of the Digital Vietnam Fatherland Front; Building and deploying the Application for recording tapes and automatic tape peeling system applying AI technology; Operating the public email system.

At the same time, continue to deploy the movement "Digital literacy for all people", train digital skills and information security for Front officials and socio-political organizations, consolidate the specialized information technology team, and meet the requirements of digital transformation throughout the system.

Speaking at the conference, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union Bui Quang Huy - Deputy Head of the Steering Committee added that, according to the tasks assigned by the Central Steering Committee, in 2026, the Steering Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has 39 tasks, including 15 regular tasks and 24 term tasks. To date, 21 tasks have been completed, and 3 tasks are being implemented.

Along with that, in addition to the tasks assigned by the Central Government, in 2026, there are many tasks in the plan for science, technology, innovation and digital transformation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the separate plans of each member organization.

Mr. Bui Quang Huy proposed that in the coming time, it is necessary to maintain regular meetings of the Steering Committee once every quarter to urge and inspect work; assign units to urge the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of provinces to use well tools such as the Digital Front and operating software; member organizations join hands to widely disseminate applications, especially the 24/7 Digital Front Application, so that people know and reflect their thoughts and aspirations; remove financial difficulties; technical support, personnel training...

Concluding the Conference, Vice President - Secretary General Ha Thi Nga said that from the results of implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo in the first 6 months of 2026, leaders of socio-political organizations, mass associations assigned tasks by the Party and State, and each department and unit of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front must determine that the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo is a very important task in the new context.
