According to a report by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province, from June 29 - July 5, the Front system and socio-political organizations in the province implemented many outstanding activities on supervision, social criticism, organization building and social security care.
The highlight of the week is the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee advising on organizing social criticism for 2 medium-term public investment projects proposed for investment policy by the Provincial Agricultural Project Management Board. At the same time, completing a summary report of criticism opinions for projects proposed by the Provincial Traffic Project Management Board according to the provisions of the 2024 Land Law.
In addition, the provincial Fatherland Front agency completed many reports and plans on government building, the all-people movement to protect national security, creative startup propaganda and preliminary summaries of the implementation of the Politburo's decisions on supervision and social criticism.
During the week, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee attended many conferences of the Central Government and the province; organized periodic inspection teams for the first 6 months of the year in communes and wards, completing inspections of 35/35 units according to plan. At the same time, maintained meetings, visits, and congratulations to religious organizations in the area.
Professional departments continue to advise on personnel organization, deploy conferences to thoroughly grasp resolutions, mobilize resources to care for poor households, children in difficult circumstances and provide unexpected support to households affected by natural disasters and fires. The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee also posted 11 news and articles on the electronic information portal and summarized the public opinion situation weekly.
Subordinate socio-political organizations also deployed many specialized activities. The Trade Union Working Committee developed 65 new union members; The Farmers' Association Working Committee disbursed 2 billion VND from the Farmers' Support Fund, supporting 40 households to borrow to develop production.
The Youth Union and Children's Affairs Committee organizes the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign; the Women's Affairs Committee performs folk dances with about 1,000 members. Sub-units continue to transfer science and technology, organize summer activities and care for union members and association members.
