On August 20, Mr. Dang Hong Sy - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee - inspected the actual landslide situation at the Dung K'No 5 resettlement area, Dam Rong 4 commune.

Through inspection, Mr. Dang Hong Sy requested the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with functional agencies to assess the current situation, propose a plan to definitively handle landslide points and areas at risk of unsafety, and advise the Provincial People's Committee to consider and decide.
Dam Rong 4 Commune People's Committee is requested to continue to implement remedial measures, proactively monitor the diễn biến of landslides and ensure safety for people in the area.
Dung K'No 5 resettlement area has a planned area of more than 15.4ha, including 113 land plots. The project is implemented in 2 phases with a total investment of nearly 59.7 billion VND.

From July 2025, the resettlement area will experience subsidence and landslides, affecting the housing and auxiliary works of some households.
At the negative and positive taluys in the area, many large cracks have appeared, posing a potential risk of continued landslides.
Faced with the above situation, the government of Dam Rong 4 commune has proposed to the province to allocate funds to handle landslide points, limit the risk of unsafety and stabilize people's lives.

The province's request to assess and develop a comprehensive handling plan is expected to soon overcome the landslide situation in the resettlement area, ensuring long-term safety for households living here.
