Soil moisture models show that some areas in the above provinces are nearly saturated (over 85%) or have reached a saturated state.
Warning in the next 3 - 6 hours (from 14:40 on August 19), the above provinces will continue to have rain with common accumulated rainfall in Son La, Cao Bang, Quang Ninh and Thanh Hoa from 20 - 50mm, some places over 70mm; Lang Son from 10 - 30mm, some places over 50mm.
