According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, in the past 24 hours (from 1:00 p.m. on September 27 to 1:00 p.m. on September 28), the provinces from Thanh Hoa to Quang Ngai have had moderate rain, heavy rain, and very heavy rain in some places. Some places monitored heavy rainfall such as: Cam Luong 62.6mm (Thanh Hoa); Yen Thuong 110.2mm (Nghe An); Huong Vinh 173mm (Ha Tinh); Ta Rut 275mm (Quang Tri); Huong Nguyen 490.4mm (Hue City); Que Phuoc 206mm (Da Nang City); Binh Khuong 114.8mm (Quang Ngai);... Soil moisture model shows that some areas in the above provinces are nearly saturated (over 85%) or have reached a saturated state.
Warning in the next 3 - 6 hours (from 1:30 p.m. on September 28), the above provinces will continue to have rain with common accumulated rainfall from Thanh Hoa to Quang Tri of about 50 - 90mm, some places over 100mm; Hue city about 30 - 50mm, some places over 80mm; Da Nang city to Quang Ngai from 10 - 30mm, some places over 50mm.
Warning in the next 6 hours (from 1:30 p.m. on September 28), there is a risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes in many communes/wards.


The meteorological agency warns that the risk of natural disasters due to flash floods, landslides, and land subsidence due to heavy rain or water flow is level 1; Hue city is at level 2.
