According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, currently, Hanoi is experiencing moderate to heavy rain.
In the next 1 - 3 hours (from 12:00 on August 14), Hanoi and neighboring areas will continue to have moderate to heavy rain, with total accumulated rainfall ranging from 20 - 40mm, in some places over 40mm.
This rain will cause localized flooding for many streets with the largest flooding depth commonly from 10 - 30cm, some places will be flooded deeper; flooding time is about 20 - 30 minutes, some places will be flooded longer.
The meteorological agency warns against flooding in some low-lying areas in the suburbs.
The flood risk warning level is level 1. Heavy rain is likely to cause flooding on some streets, affecting vehicles participating in traffic.
