Local authorities request continued waste treatment and completion of dossiers
On August 2, Ms. Le Thi Thanh Nhan - Director of the General Service Center of Ward 1, Bao Loc - said that the unit has sent a document requesting Green Friendly Environment Joint Stock Company to continue receiving and treating waste to ensure that waste collection and transportation activities are not interrupted.

According to the General Service Center of Ward 1 Bao Loc, Green Friendly Environment Joint Stock Company is the winning unit of Package No. 3 of solid domestic waste treatment. The two sides are completing procedures to sign a contract.
The locality believes that waste treatment is an essential public service that needs to be maintained continuously. Therefore, the enterprise's announcement of temporary suspension of waste collection from August 1 when the contract has not been signed is inappropriate.
The Center requests businesses to continue receiving and treating waste and work on August 3rd to remove obstacles and proceed to officially sign contracts.

At the same time, the locality requests businesses to supplement dossiers on waste treatment technology and environmental permits to serve as a basis for acceptance and payment.
Businesses are also requested to supplement a plan to determine the ratio of impurities, input waste humidity, implement contract guarantees by bank guarantee letters and complete dossiers before August 5 to consider signing contracts.
Businesses raise difficulties, temporarily continue to receive garbage
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngan Ha - Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Green Friendly Environment Joint Stock Company - said that the old contract expired from April 30, 2026.

Although there is no new contract, the enterprise continues to receive, transport and treat waste to avoid causing congestion.
According to the business, after winning the bid, the two parties agreed to reduce the treatment unit price from 540,000 VND to 440,000 VND per ton.
However, to date, the company has not yet received an official contract to serve as a basis for acceptance and payment.

The enterprise also said that for many years (during the period of belonging to the old Bao Loc City) it had not been fully paid according to the ordering unit price approved by competent authorities, but still maintained the operation of the factory and handled the amount of waste generated daily, leading to many financial difficulties.
Therefore, the company has announced the temporary suspension of receiving waste belonging to Package No. 3 in Ward 1 Bao Loc and Ward 2 Bao Loc until legal procedures are completed.
Mr. Le Dinh Trong - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Green Friendly Environment Joint Stock Company - said that after exchanging with local leaders, the enterprise agreed to continue receiving garbage in Ward 1 and Ward 2 for another week to ensure environmental sanitation.
If after this time the two parties still cannot sign a contract, the company will stop receiving garbage according to the notice.

Regarding the incident, Mr. Hoang Tuan Anh - Chairman of Bao Loc Ward 2 People's Committee - said that the locality will continue to work with the business on August 3 to agree on the contents of the contract according to regulations, ensuring harmony of interests of all parties.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Ho Dinh Dung - Deputy Director of Bao Loc Urban Joint Stock Company - said that after the enterprise announced the temporary suspension of receiving garbage, from August 1, the unit has temporarily stopped collecting garbage in Ward 1 and Ward 2.

If garbage collection and treatment continues to be interrupted for many days, garbage in the central area of Bao Loc is at risk of congestion, affecting the environment, people's lives and urban aesthetics.
Currently, the parties will continue to work on August 3 to remove obstacles, complete contract signing procedures, and ensure that garbage collection, transportation and treatment activities in the area are not interrupted.
