The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting warns that the Central region is about to face a heavy rain.
From around the night of December 2 to the end of December 3, the eastern areas of the provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa will have moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain with common rainfall of 70 - 120mm, locally over 180mm.
From the night of December 3 to December 5, the area from Quang Tri to Da Nang city and the east of Quang Ngai province will have moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain with common rainfall of 50 - 150mm, locally over 250mm. There is a risk of heavy rain with more than 100mm of rainfall within 3 hours. The warning level of natural disaster risk due to heavy rain, tornadoes, lightning, and hail is level 1.
Heavy rain is likely to cause flooding in low-lying areas, urban areas, industrial parks; flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes.

Regarding the sea weather, Ly Son station has strong northeast winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7.
Day and night on December 1, the northwest of the central East Sea will have strong winds of level 6; the area near the storm's eye will have winds of level 7-8, gusts of level 10; rough seas; Waves 2-4m high, the area near the storm's eye will have waves of 3-5m.
The southwestern sea area of the North East Sea will have strong winds of level 6, gusting to level 7-8; rough seas; waves 2-4m high. The sea area from Quang Ngai to Khanh Hoa has strong winds of level 6, gusting to level 7-8; rough seas; waves 2-4m high.
The sea area west of the central East Sea, the sea area southwest of the northern East Sea (including Hoang Sa special zone), the sea area from Gia Lai to Khanh Hoa has scattered showers and thunderstorms; the sea area northwest of the central East Sea has storms and rain. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.
Day and night on December 2, the northwest sea area between the East Sea and the sea area from Gia Lai to Khanh Hoa will have strong winds of level 6, gusting to level 7-8, waves 2-4m high, rough seas; especially the northwest sea area between the East Sea will have winds gradually decreasing at night.
The meteorological agency warns of the risk of natural disasters at sea at level 2; the northwest sea area of the central East Sea is level 3.
All ships operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by strong winds and large waves. Coastal areas from Da Nang to Khanh Hoa should be on guard against high tides combined with large waves causing overflows of dykes, coastal roads and coastal erosion.
