Currently, the Gulf of Tonkin has strong northeast winds of level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting level 8; Phu Quy special zone has gusts of level 8; Huyen Tran station has strong northeast winds of level 7, gusting level 8. The Northern East Sea area has strong northeast winds of level 6 - 7, gusting level 8 - 9.
On January 6th, day and night, in the Gulf of Tonkin, there will be strong northeast winds of level 6, sometimes level 7 during the day, gusts of level 8 - 9, strong sea waves, waves 2.5 - 3.5 m high.
The Northern East Sea area (including Hoang Sa special zone) has strong northeast winds at level 6 - 7, gusts at level 8 - 9, strong sea waves, waves 3-5 m high.
The sea area from South Quang Tri to Dak Lak and the central East Sea area will have strong northeast winds at level 6, gusts at level 7 - 8, rough seas, waves 2-5 m high.
The sea area from Khanh Hoa to Ca Mau and the western sea area of the South East Sea (including the western sea area of the Truong Sa special zone) have strong northeast winds of level 6, sometimes level 7, gusts of level 8 - 9, strong rough seas, waves 4-6 m high.
In addition, on January 6th, day and night, the central and southern areas of the East Sea (including Truong Sa special zone) and the sea area from Lam Dong to Ca Mau will have scattered showers and thunderstorms; during thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.
On January 7, day and night, the Northern East Sea area (including Hoang Sa special zone), the northern sea area of the Central East Sea and the sea area from South Quang Tri to Dak Lak will have strong northeast winds at level 6, gusts at level 7 - 8, rough seas, waves 3-5 m high.
The sea area from Khanh Hoa to Ca Mau, south of the Central East Sea area and the South East Sea area (including the Truong Sa special zone sea area) has strong northeast winds of level 6, sometimes level 7, gusts of level 8 - 9, strong sea waves, waves 4-6 m high.
The meteorological agency warns that the level of natural disaster risk at sea is level 2. All ships operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by strong winds and big waves.
