According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 7:00 AM on June 4, the center of the tropical depression was located at about 18.4 degrees north latitude; 116.6 degrees east longitude, over the sea east of the Northern East Sea area, about 500km east-northeast of the Hoang Sa special zone. The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression is strong at level 6 (39-49km/h), gusting at level 8.
The tropical depression will affect sea weather, especially in the eastern sea area of the North East Sea.
On the day and night of June 4, the eastern part of the Northern East Sea area will have level 6 winds, gusts of level 8, rough seas; waves are 2 - 4m high.
The central area of the East Sea, the sea area from Khanh Hoa to Lam Dong and the northern sea area of the South East Sea (including the northern sea area of the Truong Sa special zone) have winds of level 6, gusts of level 7 - 8, rough seas; waves 2 - 4m high.
In addition, on the day and night of June 4, the North and central areas of the East Sea (including the Hoang Sa special zone), the sea area from Lam Dong to Ca Mau, Ca Mau to An Giang and the Gulf of Thailand will have showers and thunderstorms. In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind at level 7 - 8.
On June 5th, day and night, the northeastern sea area of the Northern East Sea has strong winds of level 6, gusts of level 8, rough seas; waves are 2 - 4m high.
The area between the East Sea and the sea area from Gia Lai to Khanh Hoa has strong southwest winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusts of level 7 - 8, rough seas; waves are 2 - 3m high.
The meteorological agency warns that the level of natural disaster risk at sea is level 2. All ships operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by strong winds and big waves.
