Latest update from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 7:00 AM on June 4, the center of the tropical depression was located at about 18.4 degrees north latitude; 116.6 degrees east longitude, over the sea east of the Northern East Sea area, about 500km east-northeast of the Hoang Sa special zone. The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression is strong at level 6 (39 - 49km/h), gusting at level 8. The tropical depression is moving in a northeast direction at a speed of about 25km/h.

Forecast for the next 24 hours, the tropical depression will move in a northeast direction at a speed of about 20km/h. By 7:00 AM on June 5th, the center of the tropical depression will be located at about 21.8 degrees north latitude - 119.9 degrees east longitude; over the northeastern sea area of the Northern East Sea.

The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression is strong at level 6, gusting at level 8. The dangerous area is from 17 - 23 degrees north latitude; 115.5 - 121 degrees east longitude. Disaster risk level is level 3 for the east of the Northern East Sea area.

Forecast for the next 48 hours, the tropical depression will move in a northeast direction at a speed of about 20km/h. By 7:00 AM on June 6, the center of the tropical depression will be located at about 25.1 degrees north latitude - 123.3 degrees east longitude; over the sea northeast of Taiwan Island (China).

The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression is strong at level 6, gusting at level 8. The dangerous area is north of latitude 20.5 degrees north latitude; east of longitude 118.5 degrees east longitude. Disaster risk level is level 3 for the northeast of the Northern East Sea area.

From the next 48 to 72 hours, the tropical depression will move in a northeast direction, traveling about 25km per hour and gradually weakening into a low pressure area.

Regarding the impact of the tropical depression, the eastern sea area of the Northern East Sea has strong winds of level 6, gusts of level 8, waves 2 - 4m high; rough seas. Ships operating in the above-mentioned dangerous areas are likely to be affected by thunderstorms, tornadoes, strong winds, and large waves.
