According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the North East Sea area has strong northeast winds of level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8-9.
From the evening of November 24 to November 25, the North East Sea area (including Hoang Sa special zone) will have northeast winds gradually increasing to level 7, gusting to level 8 - 9, rough seas, waves 3 - 5m high.
The Gulf of Tonkin has northeast winds gradually increasing to level 6, gusting to level 7-8, rough seas, waves 2 - 4m high.
On the night of November 24 and November 25, the sea area from South Quang Tri to Ca Mau and the central East Sea area will have northeast winds gradually increasing to level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8 - 9, rough seas, waves 3 - 5m high.
In addition, the sea area south of the central East Sea, the southern East Sea (including Truong Sa special zone), and the southern Gulf of Thailand will have scattered showers and thunderstorms. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind of level 6 - 7.
On the night of November 25 and November 26, the North East Sea area (including Hoang Sa special zone) will have strong northeast winds of level 7, gusting to level 9 - 10, waves 4 - 6m high, rough seas.
The Gulf of Tonkin area has strong northeast winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7 - 8, waves 2 - 4m high, rough seas.
The sea area from South Quang Tri to Ca Mau, the west of the central and southern East Sea (including the west of Truong Sa special zone) has strong northeast winds of level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8 - 9, waves 3 - 5m high, rough seas.
Currently, a tropical depression is over the eastern coast of the central Philippines. The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression is level 7 (50 - 61km/h), gusting to level 9, moving west-northwest at a speed of about 20km/h.
It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, the tropical depression will move in a west-northwest direction, traveling about 20 - 25km per hour. At 1:00 p.m. on November 25, the center of the tropical depression was at about 11.1 degrees north latitude; 121.7 degrees east longitude, in the central Philippines. Tropical depression intensity level 7, gust level 9.
It is forecasted that in the next 48 hours, the tropical depression will move westward, traveling 20 - 25km per hour, entering the East Sea and is likely to strengthen into a storm.
From the night of November 25, the sea area east of the central and southern East Sea will have winds gradually increasing to level 6-7; the area near the storm's eye will have strong winds of level 8, gusts of level 10, waves 3-5m high, and rough seas.
The meteorological agency warns that the level of natural disaster risk at sea is level 2. All ships operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by strong winds and large waves.
