Hanoi
From July 6 to July 9, Hanoi will have light showers, especially in the late afternoon of July 6 - 7, there will be thunderstorms.
From the night of July 9 to July 11, the rain is forecast to increase sharply, with heavy to very heavy rain. People should proactively wear raincoats and pay attention to traffic safety.
Northern region
On July 6, the weather in the North will be quite calm, with only scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places, while the Northwest may have scattered showers in the late afternoon.
From July 7 to 9, sunny days, some places will be slightly hot; showers in the evening and at night, possibly with thunderstorms.
From the night of July 9 to July 11, thunderstorms are forecast to increase, with some places experiencing very heavy rain. tornado, lightning and strong gusts of wind warning during thunderstorms. A flood may occur on small rivers in the northern mountainous region.
Thanh Hoa to Hue and South Central Coast
On July 6, it will be sunny, with scattered thunderstorms in the evening, with moderate to heavy rain in some areas.
From July 7 onwards, there will be more sunshine, some places will be hot; there may be rain in the evening but the rainfall will not be uniform.
Central and Southern Plateau region
From July 6 to July 11, it is forecasted to be sunny during the day, with showers and thunderstorms in the evening; some places have heavy rain - beware of tornadoes and lightning.
River water levels fluctuate with rain and tides.
Sea weather assessment
On July 6, the East Sea will have high waves due to the influence of storms (waves about 3 - 5m high), then decrease.
From July 7 to July 11, the central and southern East Sea (including Truong Sa archipelago), the sea off Gia Lai - Khanh Hoa, the wave height ranges from 2 - 4m. The areas of Lam Dong - Ca Mau, Ca Mau - An Giang and the Gulf of Thailand need to pay attention to prevent thunderstorms and tornadoes that may be accompanied by unusually high waves, with common wave heights of over 2m.
Storm No. 2 is operating offshore, unlikely to affect our mainland, but be careful that ships operating near this sea area need to be on guard against thunderstorms, high waves and strong winds.
