The area from Ha Tinh to North Quang Tri will have moderate rain, heavy rain with common rainfall of 60 - 100mm, locally over 200mm.
On the day and night of November 16, the western provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak will have moderate rain, heavy rain with common rainfall from 40 - 70mm, locally very heavy rain over 150mm. Warning of the risk of heavy rain with rainfall greater than 150mm within 3 hours.
During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Heavy rain is likely to cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes and flooding in low-lying areas.
From November 17 to the end of the night of November 18, the area of Hue City, Da Nang City, the east of Quang Ngai and Gia Lai provinces will have heavy to very heavy rain with common rainfall from 200 - 450mm, locally over 550mm; the area from Ha Tinh to Quang Tri, the east of Dak Lak province, Khanh Hoa 100 - 250mm, locally over 350mm; the west of the provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak will have common rainfall from 60 - 130mm, locally over 200mm.
Total rainfall from the night of November 15 to the end of the night of November 18 in Hue City, Da Nang City, eastern Quang Ngai and Gia Lai is generally 300 - 600mm/ods, locally over 800mm/ods, the area from Ha Tinh to Quang Tri, eastern Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa provinces is generally 150 - 350mm/ods, locally over 500mm/ods; the western area of Quang Ngai to Dak Lak province is generally over 100 - 200mm/ods, some places over 350mm/ods.
From November 19, widespread heavy rain will continue to occur in Da Nang City, provinces from Quang Ngai to Khanh Hoa. From November 16 to 18, the Southern region will have moderate rain and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain to very heavy rain with rainfall from 50 - 100mm, locally over 150mm.
