Due to the impact of cold air combined with high-altitude easterly wind disturbances, the area from Ha Tinh to Khanh Hoa continues to have widespread heavy rain.
It is forecasted that around November 17, the cold air mass will affect the Northeast and North Central regions, then spread to the Northwest and Central Central regions. On land, the Northeast wind is strong at level 3-4, coastal areas at level 4-5.
From November 17 to 18, the North will have scattered rain.
From the night of November 17, the North and North Central regions will turn cold; some mountainous areas will be very cold.
The lowest temperature is generally 12-15°C, in high mountainous areas below 10°C.
At sea, from the evening and night of November 17, the Gulf of Tonkin will have northeast winds gradually increasing to level 7, sometimes level 8, gusting to level 9; rough seas, waves 3-5m high.
In the North East Sea area, the Northeast wind will be strong at level 7-8, gusting to level 9-10; rough seas, waves 4-6m high.
From November 18, the sea area from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai will have northeast winds gradually increasing to level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8-9; waves 4-6m high, rough seas.
