Weather forecast for the next 24 to 48 hours
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting predicts that the weather in the North and Central regions will change.
The Northern and North Central regions on the night of December 16 and December 17 are forecast to have scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places. Cold weather, some mountainous areas in the North are very cold.
On the night of December 17 and December 18, these two areas will have rain in some places, and fog in some places in the early morning. Cold at night and morning, some mountainous areas are very cold.
The area from Quang Tri to Da Nang city and the east of the provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak will have rain, moderate rain and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain; from the night of December 17, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain. The North has cold nights and mornings, the South has cold nights.
Other areas will have scattered showers and thunderstorms at night and sunny days.
The meteorological agency warns that thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
