Weather forecast for the next 24 to 48 hours
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that in the next 24 to 48 hours, the weather in the North and Central regions will change due to the impact of strong cold air.
In the Northern region, on the night of February 5 and the day of February 6, there is forecast to be light rain in some places, with fog in some places in the early morning. In the Northeast, there will be scattered rain and light rain at night and in the morning. It is cold, with some places in the mountainous areas of the North experiencing severe cold.
On the night of February 6 and February 7, the North will have scattered rain; the weather will be cold. From the afternoon of February 7, the weather will turn very cold.
From Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue, there will be rain in some places, early morning fog in some places, sunny in the south in the afternoon. From February 7, this area will have rain, showers, locally heavy rain and thunderstorms. The north will be cold.
Other areas have no rain at night and sunny days.
Weather changes from night of February 7 to February 15

The Northern region will have scattered rain on the night of February 7 and the morning of February 8. From around February 11 to February 15, the Northern region will have light rain in some places, with scattered fog and light fog in the early morning; from February 9 to 12, the afternoon will be sunny. From the afternoon of February 7 to 10, the weather will be very cold; there is a possibility of snow and frost in the highlands. From February 11 to 15, the weather will be very cold, with some mountainous areas experiencing very cold.
From Thanh Hoa to Khanh Hoa, from the night of February 7 to 9, there will be rain, showers, locally heavy rain and thunderstorms. From February 11 to 14, from Thanh Hoa to Khanh Hoa, there will be rain, scattered showers and thunderstorms in the South. From the night of February 7 to 10, the North Central region will be very cold. From February 11 to 12, it will be cold.
From February 7 to 10, the area from Quang Binh to Hue will be cold, with some places experiencing severe cold. From February 11 to 15, Quang Binh to Hue will be cold at night and in the morning.
