On the evening of October 27, the Lam Dong Provincial Civil Defense Command said that in the past 24 hours (from 5:00 p.m. on October 26), some communes and wards in the Southeast of the province have experienced heavy to very heavy rain.
The consequences of flooding, damage to houses, transportation, and agricultural production are estimated at this time at about 4.5 billion VND.

The entire Southeast region of the province was flooded with over 90 houses. Of which, Ham Kiem commune has 30 houses, Ham Liem has 15 houses, Ham Thuan Bac has 30 houses, Ham Thanh has 17 houses, Song Luy has 1 roof.

Regarding agricultural damage, over 420 hectares of crops including dragon fruit, rice, and vegetables were flooded. Of which, Ham Thanh commune alone had up to 80 hectares of dragon fruit trees flooded.
Some areas along the Ca Ty River, Thi Stream, and Cat River are flooded. In Ham Liem commune, there are 10 concrete roads that are flooded with a total length of about 20km.

In Ham Thanh commune, landslides on the Linh riverbank are at risk of affecting 100 households and deeply flooding the spillways, isolating about 781 households.
At some irrigation works, the lake water level is higher than the normal rising water level, so Binh Thuan Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited is operating to regulate the increase in flood discharge through the spillway.
On the evening of October 27, prolonged heavy rain caused flooding on some streets in Phan Thiet ward, Phu Thuy ward and some neighboring communes.
