On March 21, Quang Son Commune Police (Lam Dong) said that the unit had just coordinated with the Forest Protection force to re-release a rare culi individual back to the natural environment at Nam Nung Nature Reserve, ensuring safety and in accordance with procedures.

Previously, on March 19, Quang Son Commune Police received a culi individual weighing about 0.5kg handed over by a resident. The animal was discovered crawling into a house in a coffee garden in Quang Tien village (Quang Son commune).
After receiving them, functional forces checked their health status and completed the dossier according to regulations before releasing them back to nature.

The small Culi (scientific name Nycticebus pygmaeus) is a wild animal belonging to Group IB – a group of endangered, rare forest animals prioritized for protection.
People's proactive handover of wildlife shows awareness of law compliance and contributes to biodiversity protection.
In the coming time, Quang Son Commune Police will continue to propagate and mobilize people to raise awareness, promptly detect and handle violations related to wild animals.
