Handing over rare culi to release back into nature

    Ha Tinh - Catching a rare culi, a man in Huong Son commune handed it over to functional agencies to release it into nature.

    On January 11, Huong Son Commune Police said that the unit coordinated with local authorities and Huong Son Forest Protection Department to receive a culi individual from Mr. Hoang Ngoc Lam (born 1995, residing in Yen Son village, Huong Son commune, Ha Tinh) to submit.

    This culi individual belongs to group IB (list of endangered and rare animals). Immediately after receiving it, functional forces handed it over to officials of Vu Quang National Park for care to release it back into nature.

    Previously, on the morning of January 9, Mr. Hoang Ngoc Lam, while cleaning his family's acacia garden, discovered and arrested the above-mentioned culi individual.

    Knowing that this is a rare forest animal that needs protection, Mr. Lam proactively contacted and handed it over to functional agencies.
